Since I’ve been sick, I have been using my daughters Acer laptop. I have been thinking about borrowing it from her to take to work with me, so I can update, modify, and otherwise work on my websites while on breaks and lunch, but I have always worried about damaging it – especially the screen.
When I was working for HP, we would take our laptops to “authorized repair dealers”, who in turn would charge an extremely excessive amount of money for the work they did. And when it came to the LCD displays on our company laptops, the charges for repair would rival what you can pay to get a whole new system!

Well, I have found that I can get a laptop screen repair job much cheaper if I do a search on the internet. I have found that the technology that goes into LCDs on laptops has gotten better, and not so expensive to repair today. Compare that to the years ago I worked for HP.
So I can reassure my daughter that if I ever do borrow her laptop, and accidentally damage her screen, I can send it off to a laptop screen repair company, such as SparePartsWarehouse.com – that won’t break my bank.
