LinkXL Rocks!

Before I get into all the nitty-gritty details of how I found LinkXL, let me first start by telling you, O Great Reader, that for Text Links Advertising, you will find no better company that will work as hard as possible for you!

I’m a Web Designer turned SEO (Search Engine Optimizer), specializing in SEM (Search Engine Marketing) - and will be launching a new site very soon (so Great Reader, stay tuned!). And the one thing I’ve found to be true is the simple fact that Google loves inbound links! But not just any links. They have really targeted their algorithms to check for relevancy in a link. And nothing says “relevant” more than Contextual Advertising. So what is Contextual Advertising?

Contextual Advertising is placing your text link within real content on a page. The key difference is that your link does not just sit within the main navigation area, full of other links for which relevancy may be stretched. With contextual adverting (or “in-content text links”), your link is surrounded by relevant, content rich…well…content!

One of the shortcomings for this type of advertising, if you use a text link broker, or other 3rd party company to leverage your links, is that most times, you have to place JavaScript within your page’s markup. And usually, as I have found out, that markup contains depreciated HMTL code that will cause your pages to fail W3C validation. That validation is very important to me, as my site is about web standards, and valid code.

Oh yeah, back to Text Links Advertising with LinkXL! They have a great support team, and by simply placing a few files within your website root, you’re all set to go! I had a few issues with my old host, and the way they handled CGI, but the great support team at LinkXL took care of all that mess for me!

So all in all, I rate them a 10! Get your account started today! And yeah, by the way, this has been a non solicited review. I just wanted to give great props to whom great props are due, and LinkXL deserves great props!
